my husband dislocated his knee 3 months ago and has been in excruciating pain lately. He can't bend, walk on, put weight on his knee without it giving out and making him fall. My boyfriend and I were at a stop light the light turned green. We started to go (this area is under contraction so the lanes are all messed up). This has lead me to wonder what are all the info insurance companies get from your driver's license. Apart from verifying your name will they also need it to know your address, age, etc...? Will I be asked to submit a copy of the license to them when I eventually settle for an insurance company?

i have just had my car stolen and was wandering if it was worth claiming on. It is insured for 2500 and they are willing to right it off and pay up but I have a new car that I need to get insurance for. My cheapest qoute is 450. Anyone have a rough idea how much my insurance would go up if I claimed for my old car?? Basically... should i just accept my losses on the old car or claim. cheers
